ARABEC PINTOS
"Undeniably Arabian"

After such a sad end to 2010, we look forward to 2011 being bigger, better and much more exciting in a good way than last year!
We welcome the beautiful "Taffedins Serengetti" to the family. A gorgeous bay daughter of Afrikah ERA and grandaughter of GLF Apollo, she combines some of our favourite lines in one very pretty and incredibly sweet natured package. Currently torn between deciding on a riding or breeding career for her at the moment.
"Bellamy Zorros Mark" aka Zed is currently enjoying a well overdue break in the paddock as a member of the herd.
The 3 mares served by the fewspot Appaloosa stallion "Yallawa Timeless Dream" are confirmed in foal and we cannot wait to see what hits the ground later this year. Some very spotty little arabian foals we hope!
The gorgeous lease mare "Mandian Park Breanna" is carrying "Arabec Razikhs Legacy" (Dec) aka LG's last foal due in September. We cannot thank Ian and Mandy enough for letting their girl stay here for this foal, it means the world to us.
Weaning has started.
Always a somewhat sad, yet exciting time watching the youngsters transform from paddock babies to domesticated well mannered little ponies. 3 have been weaned so far and all are coping well with mums back out in the paddock with barely a complaint.
Arabec Amirah attended the 2011 East Coast Championships and walked away with a Reserve Champion Yearling Partbred Filly which we are rapt with. For her first show, it was a tremendous effort and we cannot wait to see her at the Australian Championships in March. Chelleason Renaissance also attended and made it through to the finals in a very strong class.
There are some changes being made and some new horses arriving, with others being made available for purchase. We are making Chelleason Renaissance available to a discerning home, details are on his page and the stallions page.
The beautiful Nicari Allira has been sold and we wish her new owners the very best in the future. We are positive that she will produce some amazing babies for them to their beautiful stallion.
We welcome TL Ima Cool Skip, a chestnut leopard Appaloosa stallion to the family for the 2011/2012 season. He is an absolute gentleman and we look forward to seeing what he produces from the Arabian mares.
We are looking for special homes for those on the sales page, and are prepared to negotiate or consider terms/leases for some of the horses to get them into homes where they will be loved and useful rather than being paddock ornaments here. So please enquire if any are of interest.
It seems that our photo of the bouncing "Arabec Touch Of Legacy" aka Dash, has made runner up in the AHN Foal Competition. Many thanks to the judges and Vink Publishing!
And we excitedly announce the purchase of the exquisite "LOMANI ERA". A beautiful liver chestnut 3yo stallion that possesses the sweetest temperament . While we were not looking for another colt, he just blew us away, both with his beauty and his incredibly sweet personality, and we just could not help but fall in love. We cannot wait to get him home, and have to say a huge THANK YOU to Jenni and Paul Ogden from Eagleridge Arabian Farm for making our dreams come true. We have huge expectations of the contribution he will make to our breeding program, and cannot wait to meet his foals in 2012.
Well we are back safely from the Australian Arabian National Championships where "Arabec Amirah", "Chelleason Renaissance" and "Lomani ERA" competed. Unfortunately the boys came home without an award but we are very excited to say that "Arabec Amirah" is now the current 2011 Reserve Australian Champion Yearling Partbred.
It was a combined class of 12 beautiful fillies, colts and geldings, so she worked hard for her win and it was well earned. We are simply over the moon with the result and thank you to Chelleason Training for their preparation and training to turn her out so beautifully.
Photos to come, Thank you to Tracey Bavinton for taking the time out of her busy schedule to fit the horses in for a couple of photo shoots, here's a sneak peek of one that Tracey Bavinton took of Amirah......
"Lomani ERA" is now safely at home here and is settling in well. This boy's temperament cannot be adequately described, to meet him is to love him.
Well the weather is starting to cool down a little which is making show preparation for the QLD Challenge a little easier. To keep things interesting for Lomani, his show prep quite often consists of trotting beside the car around the farm which he seems to enjoy.
Quite a few horses have been sold and are heading to their new homes shortly. Arabec Alejandro and Arabec Zensational are on their way to the Northern Territory in the next little while. Arabec Khariim is heading to Canberra, Arabec Altair is staying locally, Arabec The Wizard is heading to the Hunter Valley and Arabec The Enchanter is heading to QLD. Congratulations to all the new owners, we hope that you love them as much as we do and they fulfill all the hopes and dreams you have for them.
Weaning is nearly completed with just Arabec Czar and Arabec Altair to be weaned.
Chelleason Renaissance is currently being let down in preparation for winter as a paddock horse and he will stand at public stud in the 2011/2012 season. Please contact us for early bird stud fees to this beautiful colt.

Arabec Ayishah will be attending the QLD Challenge at the end of the month. She's taken weaning and show preparation all in her stride and we look forward to seeing how she goes at her first show.
Lomani is taking the next step and being started under saddle. He is a truly special young fellow and is taking it all with the calm and willing manner we have come to expect from him.
"Arabec Ayishah" attended the 2011 BOQ Qld Arabian Challenge Show in Toowoomba. For her first time off the property and her first show, she took everything in her stride and we were very proud of her. She came home with 2 Top 5 ribbons and won a lot of hearts. She certainly was quite a crowd pleaser with her flashy looks and sweetheart nature. Her next show will be on 8th May.
Ayishah attended the Qld Youngstock Show in Toowoomba. She came home with 2 second placings, a first in weanling pinto filly and Champion Pinto Female against strong competition, so we are rapt. She will now be put out for winter to rest/grow/play with the other weanlings.
Something else a little different for the stud is the acquisition of a gorgeous Pinto 3/4 Clydesdale mare. We are rapt with her, and intend on putting her in foal to a Gypsy Cob stallion later this year.
All foals have now been weaned and preparations are underway for the new season babies which start arriving in August/September.
Our final addition to the broodmare band has arrived. A very sweet 16.3hh pinto mare in foal to a beautiful black stallion, due early in the season. We are very excited about what she will offer to our breeding program and cannot wait to meet her babies. Huge thank you to Heather and Simon Studdy for allowing her to join our family.
It is with huge excitement that we find out that "Jalyma" is pregnant! After the long journey to restore her condition, then a couple of seasons of unsuccessful attempts to get her in foal, we finally decided to just run her with the stallion and she has fallen pregnant first cycle. "Jalyma" is in foal to our lovely Appaloosa stallion TL ImaCool Skip for a late February foal. To read her story, please visit her page.
Well winter has well and truly arrived. With temperatures plummeting down to minus 8, the horses have sprouted proper winter woolly coats so not too many photographic opportunities around at the moment.
We congratulate Arabec The Enchanter's new owners on their purchase of a lovely young fellow. We are delighted to hear that he has settled in well and can't wait to hear about his adventures under saddle.
With foaling season fast approaching, it's time to dust off the foaling alarm, restock the foaling kit and start watching the udders. Currently the pregnant mares are all on the oats crop and enjoying the lush green feed. The first foals are due in early September.
We are hoping to attend the Colourama event in Gatton in September (hopefully the 2 mares due in September are not overdue), so some potential candidates have been brought in to begin show prep. Currently on the short list is Daisy May, Arabec Aliyaa (full sister to Arabec Ayishah) and Arabec Daafinah (my only "Raz" daughter and half sister to "LG" and "Arabec Amirah"). We may also bring "Bellamy Zorros Mark" in to prep. There is only 3 spots available on the float, so the final choices will be made over the next few weeks.
Well "Mandian Park Breanna's" due date came and went. 16 long days later, in a late afternoon delivery, she finally allowed us to meet her baby, an exquisite chestnut Tobiano filly. Sired by our much loved and dearly missed "LG" - "Arabec Razikhs Legacy", "Arabec Swan Song Of LG" aka "Kismet" is his last foal and truly is a gift. We are overjoyed with her, she's everything we had dreamed of.
"Bree" will now return to her owners after weaning, in foal to "Lomani ERA". We are deeply grateful to Mandy and Ian for the opportunity to lease such a beautiful mare and hope that she delivers another gorgeous filly for them next season.
The first two foals for this season are the only pinto babies we were expecting this year. We now await our first Appaloosa Arabian foals to arrive in a few weeks.
We are excited to welcome "Xhi Rhythm MG" to the family. A buckskin 90% Arabian mare, with golden colour, lovely conformation and gorgeous movement, we look forward to the high percentage and hopefully dilute babies she will produce in the future.
"Arabec Ayishah" has been sent to be shown with Paul Hedges International in NSW. We cannot wait to see how she goes at the southern shows.
Huge congratulations to "Arabec The Enchanter's" owners on the completion of his first 20km social ride with flying colours and a heartrate of 36, so soon after being started under saddle. We are so happy that he's going so well for you and hope that this is just the start of a long and successful ridden career. We are really enjoying watching him turn from paddock ornament to ridden superstar.
The very sad decision was made to part with our very first AHSA registered pinto filly and "Arabec Daafinah" was made available for purchase and has been sold to a fabulous home in NSW. We wish her new owners the very best with whatever path they choose for her in the future.

Well what a start to the breeding season! 1st of August, saw the early arrival of "Yatama Monarch", a bay tobiano colt, sired by the beautiful "Yatama Ali" (dec). With mum being 16.3hh, this *little* bundle, was not quite so little and we expect him to mature 16hh+. Although we were hoping for a filly, it's impossible to be disappointed. Very friendly and bold, he is the first one to greet any visitors to his paddock.
We are very excited with our newest acquisition. A lovely Arabian Pony mare "Burren-dah Star Bella". She has gone straight to stud and will be put in foal to the gorgeous buckskin tobiano pony stallion "Windsong Celtic Clansman".

Breeding season is in full swing. "Lomani ERA" has his first mares expecting early foals, "Arabec Zolitaire" is serving his first mares, and TL Ima Cool Skip has a new girlfriend. Our big 3/4 Clydie pinto mare has been bred to The Whistleblower and hopefully has taken successfully.
"Arabec Ayishah" attended her first show with Paul Hedges on the 22nd. Handled by Paul and our good friend Bryan, she had a fabulous day, bringing home Best Coloured Arabian Derivative, Champion Part Arabian, Champion Pinto and SUPREME Coloured Let Exhibit. A huge thank you to everyone who helped prep, train and show "Ayishah" to her wins, we are rather overjoyed with the results. Photos to come.
"Kie-Al Impress-ya" is now overdue, however "Breakaway
Nah-Tasha" has foaled a week early, and has had a very colourful and handsome red dun colt with blaze, 4 stockings and a blanket. "Arabec Nevadun Dreamin'" aka "Nevada" is a beautiful boy with lots more bling than we expected. Being his mother's 17th foal, the decision has been made to retire his dam this season. She has finished on a big high, and well deserves her retirement.
The beautiful "Jaytee Dancing Queen". has joined the broodmare band. A tall, substantial mare with beautiful face and large dark eyes. She will take the place of "Starwood Marrakesh" in the broodmare band as "Marrakesh" retires this season to live a life of luxury.
